Picnic at Belper River Gardens

Belper River Gardens, Derbyshire

Checking out of our accommodation early, we headed to Belper River Gardens for lunch before travelling to Darwin Forest Hoseasons Lodges for the weekend.

We walked through the gardens & took shelter from the rain under a tree before settling on the band stand for lunch. The path by the old mill leads to a restaurant and the Derwent Valley Visitor Centre in Strutt’s North Mill.
