Carsington Water Walk

We travelled in heavy rain and weren’t confident it would pass, but thankfully it started to brighten up as we walked the small Stones Island Trail.

After a picnic by the visitor centre overlooking the water, we began a walk along the reservoir going north. We turned back after a while as we needed to hit the local Aldi for a top up shop. Nice scenery though – will return later in the week.
