Elterwater to Skelwith Bridge (pram friendly) Walk
The weather picked up today, but with the bad news that the ferry doesn’t do prams or wheelchairs, Wray Castle was off the table…
A quick search for “pram friendly” walks offered up an alternative day out – parking at Elterwater NT car park (in the last space, bar one over a huge puddle) & walking the path by the river to Skelwith Bridge & a café called Chesters by the River.
We enjoyed open pasties of tofu & beans on a decking under a canopy before retracing our steps, stopping at Skelwith Force waterfall for some photos.
