To break up our return trip, we visited Tyntesfield, an ornate Victorian Gothic Revival house with extensive garden and parkland.
After our day out in Lyme Regis followed by Bridport, we still hadn’t had enough. A wander around West Bay in search of cider & ale was on the cards…
Having missed out on walking along The Cobb the last time we were here (rain storm), we made that a priority.
On our way to Dorset we stopped at Mossley Old Hall to wander the grounds & climb the tree house before having a quick tour of the house…

After lunch at the White Horse Inn where we sampled the Clun Brewery beers, we walked over to Clun Castle.
Very much “in the sticks”, the roads leading to Bury Ditches are single track, opening out here & there for the odd farm and bunch of houses.
Turns out there are a handful of museums in the area that you can visit. We didn’t…
