Exploring Peak Wildlife Park
On our second day of holiday we travelled back the way we came to visit Peak Wildlife Park.
Out early to get there “before the rush” and managed to get our toddler in for free by saying it was his 2nd birthday the following Thursday (it was a few months ago…). It’s quite expensive compared to other “zoos” we’ve been to before.
We saw otters, meerkats, a big tortoise, alpacas & a load of deer before having an early lunch on a bench in the wind. The Nature Walk was good, and we saw the polar bear, arctic fox, zebras, lemurs, penguins, wallabies, etc.
The weather went from sunny/windy to dull/windy all the time. This time last year we were experiencing a heat wave.
The other side of the park had rabbits, goats and a red squirrel walk, which was a bit disappointing as there were no squirrels to be found.
Check out the Peak Wildlife Park website for more info.
