Porthmadog, home to the Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railways, the Purple Moose Brewery & some cracking gelato!

Definitely worth a visit after half-a-day wandering around Portmeirion, and while we didn’t have time to ride the train, it was nice to see it set off on it’s journey.

We ate gelato from Cadwaladers as the Cariad Gelato Kiosk was closed, very nice, as was the beer in The Australia pub that stocks Purple Moose beer on tap.
