Beach Morning and a Walk Around Peasholm Park

Waking up to fantastic weather it was decided that we would hit the beach for a morning of sand castles.

The sea was far out, which made for great rock pooling, but a wind picked up and suddenly we were surrounded by mist! We called it a day & went for a picnic by the lake in Peasholm Park.

We walked around the lake before it was time to move the car. Using the parking disc system, we managed to park for free most days!

I parked at the top end of the park and we walked all the way to the lake and back. There are lots of sculptures lining the path and oriental gardens to browse.
