Brant Fell & The Dales Way On our last day in the Ambleside area we realised that we hadn’t visited Bowness-on-Windermere, even though it’s on the doorstep. A quick web search & we found a walk from the front up to Brant Fell & back along the Dales Way.

Lake Vyrnwy Dam Loop On our last day in North Wales we headed to Lake Vyrnwy. Passing Cwm Hirnant, where we’d hiked up a steep hill last time, we had a hair-raising incident on the one-track road!
