Coed y Brenin Forest After completing the New Precipice Walk and eating a picnic we travelled North about 10 minutes to Coed y Brenin Forest, part of the Snowdonia National Park. New Precipice Walk Another recommendation took us to a hidden car park in Llanelltyd, near Dolgellau, to ascend through the forest to the New Precipice Walk. It took about 2 hours to reach the beginning of the Precipice. Once there the views down the Mawddach Estuary to Barmouth were stunning.

Harlech Castle We visited Harlech Castle on a recommendation and it made for a pleasant afternoon. The views from the top of the walls are far and wide, but coupled with a strong wind and no safety barrier the experience can be pretty hair raising.
