Cwm Hirnant & Penllyn Forest Walk
On our last full day in Bala we set off on a huge walk taking in Cwm Hirnant and Penllyn Forest.
Kicking off the day with the ascent up to Pen y Cerig Duon was tough, but thoughts of the hot tub back at the cottage spurred us on.
We used this grass verge by a stream as our car park for the day – with the walk beginning and ending there.
