Adventures at Thornbridge Estate

An afternoon wandering the beautiful grounds of Thornbridge Estate, the only thing missing was a pint of one of their delicious beers (I was driving).

The gardens are very well maintained and we enjoyed following all the paths and exploring everything they had to offer. The house was having work done with camo hiding the scaffolding in places, but we generally avoid going into fancy buildings as they’re not the best place for a 2 year old who likes to touch things.

Upon exiting the grounds we played with the lawn games that were set up on the grass before having a go at “hook-a-duck” in the fountain. There was also a Meet The Animals area that houses goats, pigs and sheep! A very nice afternoon out – recommended to all.
